A24 is seeking a Temporary Grassroots and Partnerships Coordinator to join our Los Angeles Grassroots Marketing and Publicity team until March 2025. This person will be a motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking, communication, and organization with 1-2 years of professional experience in film and/or television PR at a major studio, streamer, network, or agency.
This is a hybrid position and we are seeking a candidate who can work from A24’s West Hollywood location.
Initial Responsibilities:
Support Grassroots Marketing and Publicity Director in grassroots, publicity and partnership efforts
Participate in brainstorm sessions with Director and Manager to set grassroots strategy across targeted audiences, multicultural press outlets, content creators and digital influencers, as well as potential media partners and brands
Conduct extensive research to worldbuild and track in Google Suite docs
Steward relationships with specialty journalists, content creators and grassroots organizations alongside Director and Manager
Create and maintain grassroots status reports that will be shared with broader internal teams and filmmakers
Keep a pulse on cultural conversations that will impact film releases (Film Twitter, TikTok etc.)
Manage logistics for grassroots screening, including print requests and material delivery
Compile, track, and blast grassroots press breaks, reviews, and reactions to appropriate distribution lists
Compile and track grassroots social posts and screenshots/video pulldown
Track screener links, DVDs, and DCP shipments with Print Traffic Team
Track RSVPs for grassroots screenings
Administrative tasks including calendaring for Director, maintaining film folders, docs, SOWs, etc
Staffing related events as needed including but not limited to special screenings, grassroots screenings, press days/interviews.. This includes after-hours and weekend events
Ideal Candidate:
1-2 years of professional work experience, preferably in Public Relations & Marketing
Excels in multitasking, communication, time management and strong organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication for both internal and external partners
Highly skilled in managing multiple projects, reports, document
Reliable, communicative and proactive
Extreme attention to detail
Accountable and solution oriented
Personable, social, and enthusiastic
A love of films and a passion about Public Relations and Grassroots Campaigns

This role is a temporary, W-2 position, working at least 40 hours per week. Our target hourly rate for this position is between$20 - $24 an hour. Actual starting pay within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
