Prep 9 Interviewers

Hello Alumni!

My name is Maya Grant. I'm an alum of The Tilton School and the currentPREP 9 Admissions Officer.

One of the tasks that I have the pleasure of coordinating is the recruitment of interviewers for the newest Contingent of PREP 9 students (Contingent 29).  If you are receiving this email, it is because you were either an interviewer in the past, expressed interest in being an interviewer, or were suggested to me by a member of the Prep for Prep staff. We are in the process of recruiting interviewers for the upcoming season and I wanted to provide you with a bit more information.

Each of the interview sessions lasts 2.5 hours. Each interview lasts about 20 minutes. We ask that interviewers complete an interview report immediately following each interview or by the end of the entire session. We compensate interviewers by paying them $45 dollars per session and if you sign up for a weekend session, we will likely provide lunch.

Our next interview orientation will take place on Saturday February 21st and interviews will take place the following Saturday February 28th. Please let me know your level of interest, and then we can discuss the schedule and your availability. We schedule the number of applicants based on the number of interviewers that commit to the session. Please note that we prefer interviewers to be able to commit to the date and time that they sign up for. Additionally please contact me with your availability during your Spring Break vacation if you will be in the NYC area and are interested in interviewing during this time.

Our alumni are an integral part of this process. We appreciate any and all involvement. This truly is a wonderful opportunity to not only give back to a wonderful organization that helped us all achieve so much, but it is a great way to have a hand in selecting the Prep alumni of the future.

If you are interested, please contact me directly at mgrant@prepforprep.org, subject line “Interested Interviewer” or call

Thank you in advance and please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Maya
