Student Safety
At Prep, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We have taken a number of important steps to establish safeguards for students:
- We have updated our student-protective policies and made them available to the entire Prep community.
- We have established mandatory reporting requirements for employees, contractors, and volunteers who interact with Prep’s minor participants during the program or in any Prep-sponsored activity.
- We are educating members of the Prep community about boundaries, the signs of misconduct, and reporting guidelines.
- We require background reviews for employees based on their roles, including criminal background checks for all adult employees.
- We require employees to complete regular trainings to stay up-to-date on applicable policies and best practices.
