This position is responsible for technical support to Worldwide Distribution Services for feature materials. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Creating mastering schedule with Manager for all worldwide dubbed and subtitled theatrical release versions; working with WWDS VP and Manager to take delivery of original version elements from post production; and working with Manager on all China related correspondence, scheduling, and delivery. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
Overview and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for technical support to Worldwide Distribution Services for feature materials.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Creates mastering schedule with Manager for all worldwide dubbed and subtitled theatrical release versions
Works with WWDS VP and Manager to take delivery of original version elements from post production
Works with Manager on all China related correspondence, scheduling, and delivery
Coordinates delivery of both original and localized materials into worldwide labs for theatrical distribution
Coordinates schedules and orders for all localized feature subtitle work
Coordinates schedules and orders for all scripting and translation for both trailer and feature titles
Works with in-house sound editors for all audio and prelim picture deliverables
Coordinates distribution of preliminary versions to necessary vendors
Attends Quality Control screenings and coordinates QC schedule of all feature versions
Raises purchase orders and processes invoices for all worldwide distribution vendor work
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and internet software
Additional Qualifications:
Self-motivated, self-starter
Strong communication skills
Experience in Entertainment Industry
Digital Cinema mastering experience preferred
Basic post production knowledge
Knowledge of International servicing
