Prep Announces 2012 Lilac Ball Honoree

Mr. Heller is the former Global Co-Head of the Securities Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co where he also served on the Management Committee.  He joined Goldman Sachs in 1989 in New York and also spent significant time living and working in Tokyo and London during his career. He serves as a Trustee for the Acumen Fund, The New Museum of Contemporary Art, Project Morry, and Third Way.  He earned a B.A. from Harvard College and continues to be involved with the university as Co-Chair of his class fundraising efforts.  He and his wife Hermine have three children Felix, Olive, and Romy.

 

Since 1986, the Lilac Ball has served as Prep’s keystone event.  It not only honors a corporate leader with a commitment to education and youth, but also celebrates the outstanding college choices of Prep’s graduating high school seniors.  Proceeds from the event support Prep’s mission of creating a more diverse national leadership pool by offering a superior education and opportunities to New York’s most promising students of color.
