The Preparatory Component, a rigorous 14-month course that prepares students academically and socially to excel in an independent school.
Today, Prep's more than 4,000 alumni serve in leadership roles in nearly every industry and facet of society, including education, business, finance, law, technology, media, government, charitable organizations, and the arts.
Position Summary: Prep for Prep and PREP 9 seek teachers for their in-person 7-week Summer Preparatory Programs (from late June to mid-August) for 6th - 9th graders.
The Prep for Prep program will be held at the Collegiate School, and the PREP 9 program will be held at the Nightingale School. Please note that the PREP 9 program includes a two-week stay at a boarding school outside New York City in July.

Requirements:
- BA from a competitive college
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level
- Independent school experience is a plus
Compensation: $8,000 - $10,000, based on qualifications and experience.
